December 9, 2021 at 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm EST

How are women forging new pathways in faith leadership throughout religions that traditionally have been patriarchal? Change comes slowly but there has been a palpable shift. Join academics, journalists and religious leaders for a discussion on the future of women in faith leadership.

The session is being offered through a collaboration between The Associated Press, The Conversation and Religion News Service.

Our presenters:

• Ingrid Mattson, Chair of Islamic Studies at Huron University College at Western University
• Emilie M. Townes, Dean and Distinguished Professor of Womanist Ethics and Society at Vanderbilt Divinity School
• Carolyn Woo, Distinguished President’s Fellow for Global Development at Purdue University
• Jue Liang, Visiting Assistant Professor of Religion at Denison University
